Chevy/GMC Bullet Antenna:
- Your package should include 1 bullet antenna and 2 aluminum antenna bases. (labelled M6 and M7)
- Remove the factory antenna off of your truck,
- Please make sure the male threads on your trucks are clean by removing any dirt or residue.
- We include an M6 and an M7 adapter. Choose the right adapter for your vehicle.
- Thread the correct antenna base onto the stud and tighten it by hand. The M7 adapter base has a groove etched into the surface so that you can easily identify it. * Please note: If the plastic trim is not perfectly aligned and you are having trouble getting the adapter to thread onto the stud, you can apply some force to the plastic trim to make room for the antenna to fit.*
- Thread in your bullet antenna directly onto the base by hand. You don't have to screw the bullet all the way and the bullet antenna does not have to be completely tight. Turn the bullet 3 complete times and it will start to compress. You can stop there if you desire. Or, you can screw it in a total of 5 turns if you prefer.
-
If you are having issues with antenna bases not fitting, please reach out to us. It would be helpful to include images of the adapters you received labeled for your vehicle, a picture of your trucks (hood mounted) antenna base and send us your truck's Make, Model & Year.
For 5", 8" & 12" Flexible Antennas (Fits GMC/Chevy, Ford/Dodge and Jeep 2007+):
- Your package should include 1 flexible antenna and aluminum antenna bases (labeled for each model).
- Remove the original antenna from your truck.
- Remove dirt and residue to ensure the compound adhesive can properly adhere.
- We include two different size antenna bases for Chevy/GMC because certain have a M6 threaded male stud on the truck and some have an M7.
- We also include two different size antenna bases for Ford/Dodge labelled (Part B) and (Part C).
- Choose the correct antenna base for your vehicle and place onto the stud. Tighten by hand. Please note: If you are having trouble threading the adapter onto the stud due to the plastic trim not aligning perfectly to the center of the antenna base, apply force to the plastic trim. This will allow room for the antenna.
- Thread the flexible antenna into the antenna base by hand.
- If you are having issues with antenna bases not fitting, please reach out to us. It would be helpful to include images of the adapters you received labeled for your vehicle, a picture of your trucks (hood mounted) antenna base and send us your truck's Make, Model & Year.
